According to the question sheet, "deer" should have been accepted as an alternative answer to this question.
I don't know why this was felt to be necessary. Antelope(s) belong to the family Bovidae, and deer belong to the family Cervidae. Why would you accept an answer that's clearly wrong?
Unless I'm missing something, the kudu is not a deer; it's an antelope.
